The Nebraska Library Commission established this scholarship to provide financial support to eligible Nebraskans for coursework leading to a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree with a major in Library and Information Science or a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Education with a Library Media concentration/endorsement. This scholarship program fulfills the requirements of the grant awarded to the Nebraska Library Commission by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) to recruit and educate the next generation of librarians. | |||||||||||||||

The Nebraska Library Commission will: | |||||||||||||||

Applicants may receive subsequent scholarships which support work toward a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Library and Information Science (LIS). Scholarship funds may be used for more than one academic semester or quarter. | |||||||||||||||
